Create a functional vector logo for a painter using his real painted signature
My Experience
Leon Cain is a fine artist and sign painter in Belize. He needed a professional, yet unique and stylized logo to use for his business cards and website. I used the signature from one of his paintings to craft the logo, which in my opinion makes for a perfect mark. I used Adobe Illustrator to trace the painted lines.
The Outcome
With Leon Cain's new logo ready for action, we designed a business card featuring one of his recent paintings. The card combines the stylized signature logo with a refined san serif typeface to make it uniquely Leon, while still super legible - and thus functional. Win win.
