God, she thought lying in bed naked and re-reading Aldington's Portrait of a Genius, But... he's an impostor! Not D.H. Lawrence, but her husband-Henry-with his bauble of a belly and all the hair he never combed and the way he stood around in his shorts, and the way he stood naked before the window like an Arabian and howled; and he told her that he was turning into a toad and that he wanted to buy a Buddha and that he wanted to be old and drown in the sea, and that he was going to grow a beard and that he felt as if he was turning into a woman.

And Henry was poor, poor and worthless and miserable and sick. And he wanted to join the Mahler Society. His breath was bad, his father was insane and his mother was dying of cancer.

How did I get my start in design?

I was living in Seattle and working in a live music venue when I first started designing posters and web graphics to promote local, and touring bands.

I later lived and worked in the music industry in my home town of Cleveland, Ohio. As the manager and event organizer of a club in Cleveland, I collaborated with local artists and producers to create designs and marketing materials.

Around that time, I met the love of my life. We soon moved to Belize together.

For a few years, I worked under the visionary leadership of Tanya McNab and her team at McNab Visual Strategies here in Belize. While working with McNab, I designed logos, layouts, ads, and other stuff for awesome clients from around the country; plus designed three merchandise shops for Belize's premier brewing company, and produced a video documentary series for the EU.

In 2020, I went solo and started working from a studio space in my home in Belize City.

These days, I help my clients get setup online with functional and effective tools to communicate their stories, so they can succeed in the ever expanding digital world.

What are my favorite design projects?

My two children are my greatest work.

Beyond them, I'm proud of the works I've completed since living in Belize.

Produced and edited two documentary films for the European Union
Designed and laid out hundreds of pages of documents for the United Nations
Designed digital models for three merchandise shops for the Belize Brewing Company
Designed and laid out a printed biography of the Spouse of the Former Prime Minister of Belize.
Designed and developed websites for a small businesses, NGOS and independent creatives from New York to Belize.
Designed the branding, marketing and media materials for the Belize International Yoga Festival.

Want to know my story?

I grew up in Cleveland Ohio.

In 2010, I earned a degree from The Ohio State University in Business with a focus on Operations Management. I was recruited to work with Amazon.com and moved to Seattle.

After a couple years working nightshift in a refrigerated warehouse, managing a skeleton crew for Amazon Fresh (an early iteration of Amazon's grocery delivery service), I needed a break - so I took one. Phew.

I soon found my way into Seattle's vibrant live music scene, where I worked as a production manager and music promoter and DJ for a handful of venues.

This is when I first started using photoshop to design posters for shows.

In 2015 I returned to Cleveland, where I contributed to the local event scene working as a manager in a local venue and collaborating with local artists for poster art.

That same year, I met the love of my life and decided to move to Belize with her. I'm humbled and grateful to share that we are now happily married with two kids.

Since moving to Belize, I've supported my family working in design.

When I'm not working with clients to thrive online, I'm probably out in nature, at the edge of the sea, or in the jungle. When I get back, I will drink some coffee and cook some tasty food, before heading into the studio for the evening to make music.
